Who do you think brought boxing back ?

There's a buzz about our beloved sport these days, who or what do you think brought it back.

Personally, I don't think it's gonna ever reach the level of the 60's - 80's. But, this cool lil revival(I'm not quite sure if its reached that staged yet), or whatever is in the air right now. I'm just glad the sport is making a buzz.

For me, there are two reasons why boxing is making a buzz right now, and it is led by not the baddest man on earth, but the most electrifying fighter on earth, Manny Pacquiao.

And like it or not, the UF* lit a fire on the boxing promoters @sses and they've gone to work, I still think they can do more, but we'll see.

Sorry, but the majority of the general public doesnt even know who Pacquiao is. Money Mayweather is a household name and if you werent in denial you'd remember that boxing went through its darkest time in years during the 2 years Floyd was retired. While he was on hiatus, that allowed the UFC to gain some traction while boxing was in a rough patch. Now that he's back people are suddently claiming boxing has made a miraculous comeback. That's no coincidence.

Every good guy needs a dance partner, but, at the same time, Floyd's act is part of what turned people off from boxing, see Mike Tyson

Boxing never went anywhere but Manny has made it popular with the casual observer though

Hey, Oprah needs a dance partner too(Jerry Springer).

                    What's opposite of the A side, a B side(Floyd)

Jordan, Lance Armstrong, Tom Brady, Michael Jackson will be talked about for generations, just like Manny Pacquiao.

Dennis Rodman, 50cent, Mike Tyson, Jose Canseco, and Floyd Jr., although great in their own right, don't have the kind of longevity that the great ones do. They're the B side, they've chosen that role.
