Illegal box????? I won't tell the man don't worry. Now that I have a little cash, i never go without versus, Showtime, HBO, and ESPN (wish I had ESPN classic) solely for boxing. I could really care less about the movies, I just download them all before they hit DVD, but boxing is my entertainment. Boxing is the one and only man on man, skill against skill science that is a chess match without the boredom if you ask me.Comment

BTW, any reason why you're picking Martinez over Williams? I'm giving him a damn good shot as well. Damn good.Illegal box????? I won't tell the man don't worry. Dunno, I like Williams but it actually kind of reminds me of when I first saw Calzaghe, actually. I was at a friends house and everyone was taking bets on Lacy and I was like I'm putting money on Calzaghe.
I was watching boxing at my house and it was the Martinez/Bunema fight, there was no one making bets though but I had never even heard of Martinez before. After the first 2 rds, I was like, man this dude is for real. After that, I recorded his fight with Cintron and downloaded some of his earlier fights.
I think he has the speed to trouble Williams and he uses distance well, a little better than Williams does. Williams seems to want to brawl with guys up close, which is fine if the other guy does the same but I think Martinez is a thinking boxer and will tie up on the inside. Williams is a really tough task but Martinez has experience and a mental toughness and confidence that I think will allow him to make adjustments to win. Plus, he is the underdog and I like picking the underdog in fights.Comment

Nice analysis, man. Yeah, I think this is a brutal fight for PW and could even see him getting stopped. I hate how people keep mocking Joe for being a slapper. His hands were so damb brittle he couldnt punch people with full force. I thought this was pretty much common knowledge. So essentially this "crap" boxer could beat Hopkins, RJJ, Kessler, Eubank, while being really careful not to break a nail.
The fact that he was able to overcome the difficulties that come with hands that like to break every time you punch someone should be commended. Also he dry humped Hopkins. Hopkins should be living in a cupboard of shame after that. "wont ever lose to a whiteboy" but will however allow himself to get bent over and rogered. Oh the shame.Comment

. Damn, miss those days. But yeah, you could pretty much catch all the super middleweight fights not involving Toney/Jones on Showtime.
