Funny how they no longer can answer these sort of questions any more. The more logic you talk, the more childish they get. Watch out for the red k, bud.

Speaking for myself, my first encounter with Calzaghe was the Lacy fight..I watched all the following fights on cable and downloaded what earlier fights I could find. He may have been on cable I guess as early as 99 but I did not really have access to those fights live, I was only able to catch RJJ fights at my friends house. We would get up over there and watch Jones in his prime demolishing dudes but other than that I had little access to live boxing until about 2005.

Are you saying I'm wrong for saying that, prior to Lacy, Calzaghe had several of his fights aired on US networks? Because that's what I said. And if you disagree, then you're the one who doesn't know ****.

At one point Calzaghe was a staple on Showtime (as were many 168lbers from abroad). I first saw him at the turn of the century and was very impressed with him.

I wish I had been able to see him earlier, my parents were kind of broke most of the time (could not afford movie channels like hbo or showtime) but I paid for my own stuff once I had a full time job. I think I remember hearing about him being on Showtime a few times now that you mention it. My friends parents loved to watch RJJ, so I was always invited to go over there, it was good times.

I had an illegal box . Damn, miss those days. But yeah, you could pretty much catch all the super middleweight fights not involving Toney/Jones on Showtime.
