The same thing they did to get in the ring with Eubank.

I guess what you're trying to imply is that I don't know what I'm talking about. You're wrong though...PLus it's a known fact that Calzaghe fought nobodies with the exception of an old Eubank.. Only you the fans deny that

Jones was shot and still knocked him down in the first. Just imagine what he would have done to him in his prime.

Old hopkins also knocked him down in the first and gave him a ****load of problems. It was a close fight and I bet money for the first time in his career you the fans thought he would lose that 0, and be remembered as a nobody.

Kessle...Even though I think kessler was overhyped, I am going to give him credit for that fight and say that kessler was a good opponent. Not great but good.

Lacy=overhyped.. but it was a great win. I give him credit for that fight

Before that he was fighting bums and cab drivers.

Notice how you only highlighted the opponents after the Lacy fight btw...lol even you accept the fact that before the lacy fight he was fighting cab drivers
You stated that he only fought cab drivers period, you stated that. Americans only had access to Calzaghe fights after he fought Lacy, who is responsible for that? Calz was 36 when he fought Hopkins/Jones, if they were old then so was he- imagine what he would have done at 23?

I have downloaded Calzaghe's career set, as much as I could obtain of it, and yes most of the earlier fights were against subpar opposition but so was most of Jones' earlier fights so what is your point?

the only fighter Roy Jones Jr had reservations about facing was Eubank. It is claimed by Eubank.
Didn't James Toney taunt those Eubank and Benn to fight him in a live Interview??

I think he called them cowards and offended their mothers and what not...I'm surprised the fight between each of those two and Toney never happened

Actually, America had access to Calzaghe's fights long before then. Since 1999, I believe.

Once or so on an undercard possibly, I did not have cable back then either and was using 56K for the web, sadly
