Marquez will not be a 147 fighter. If he fought any other TOP WW he would have been Knocked out by the 5 round or less. He is to slow and has no power at that weight.

Mosley would have Taxed that ass.
Cotto would have whooped that ass.
CLottey would oversize him BADLY *i could see this fight going the distance tho because Clottey doesn't go for the Kill*
Berto would smash him.

Even at 140 Marquez wouldn't be that good. Like someone said 135 is his limit. He is in his late 30's and moving to high wont help his body when he already moved up so much.

You didn't see Gomez against a shot Gatti(RIP) and Karass? I don't see what JMM has in power or speed that could give Gomez any trouble... Gomez would get dominated by by top 5 wws and probably by top level prospects. But, if you not in the top 10 or a top level prospect like Jones or Smith than he could give anybody hell at 147.
