Yes I think he could, remember it was his first fight at the weight, he would probably get more acclimated and look better, also remember he was fighting Floyd.

Like who Reign? Take Floyd out of the picture you honestly believed JMM look like he could belong at WW? He didn't seem slower than usual do you? You honestly believed he carried his power? Even at LW IMO he didn't have his legs under him. If you look at both of his fights at 135 closely. You could see that was his limit. Anything higher than that he would be in a huge disadvantage... I honestly what top 20 WW JMM could beat. I would even pick Karass and Gomez to beat him at 147. He just doesn't belong there. I don't even think he could beat Hatton at 140. IMO I truly believe 135 is his limit...

Can you give me an example where a fighter a moved in weight look like a shell of himself at that weight. But, then got used to that weight? I am pretty sure that there is one but I can't think of any right now...

I haven't really seen Jennings fight... The only fight I have seen of him is against Cotto and I wouldn't put Jennings in the top 20. I would try to find some Jennings fight and then I could give you an answer...

And, yes I would pick Alfonso Gomez to beat JMM at 147...
