I'm not sure that he neurtralised Judah's speed that well, it's just that Judah started to fade the more Cotto hit him, and also Pacquiao has a more varied offence than Judah.
Ever wonder why Cotto neutralized the speed of Mosley and Judah but not that of PAC?!

One analyst (I forgot who) said that the difference between Manny and Mosley/Zab is that Mosley/Zab have a faster 1-2 than Pac but Pac always throws a much faster 1-2-3 or a 1-2-3-4. Most of his opponents usually expect his 1-2 but most of the time never his 3-4.Comment

its true i give evangelista an assload of credit for cotto i dont think he was trainign himself i think ev. knew cotto so well and that he knows boxing so he knew the right thinkgs to do yea they had problems but i think it was more of cotto wanting to train himself and you just cant do that in boxing because you dont see everything...santiago doesnt see the things that ev. sees and doestnt know cotto the fighter as well experience plays big in boxing and i dont take anything on this site personally so its coolComment

thats a really good question.
I'm thinking the logical solution would be because Pac throws his quick punches from difficult angles, so they are harder to see coming possibly?Comment

Er Mosley was past prime when he faced Cotto too? Prime Mosley makes Cotto his ***** and forces him to take a few knees in the process.Comment

Exactly, everyone is overrating Mosley's speed at this point. But, Shane is probably hitting much harder these days compared to yester-years.Comment
