Ever wonder why Cotto neutralized the speed of Mosley and Judah but not that of PAC?!

Those two might have comparable punch speed, but they dont have the ability to throw combinations with speed and power like Manny. Also, Mannys is faster with his feet... he jumps in and out like a cobra. Judah and Mosley were not anywhere near Manny in the other speed department. Manny is in a class of his own with this cobra-strike like speed where he can jump on you from a distance in a split second and jump back or to your side the next second.

Cotto won't just throw something out of the window if its working. Fine he was boxing good in the first but when PAC made the adjustments; in and out, side to side motion; powerful, quick and precise combinations; Cotto knew already he'll get owned if he sticks to boxing. He was getting wobbled as early as round 2. So Cotto took the chance to brawl as he knows that's the only way he'll have a puncher's chance to beat PAC.

Pac has OBVIOUSLY brought up more power than anticipated by DLH, Hatton and Cotto. It's obvious now that Pac can **** at JWW-WW and slugging with someone that's faster and more accurate is foolish because you're getting hit with massive shots at (also at odd angles) that you can't brace for so they hurt much more. To beat Pac you need to box from a distance or get in and out quickly. I think Floyd will time Pac coming in recklessly and pot shot him into a boring decision.

Pac is a natural at 140-147 and anybody that gets in the ring with him thinking he's just a blown up fighter is getting KO IMHO...

What's your point, Vargas was shot at an earlier age. Age has nothing to do with it.

DT – Let’s discuss speed. Cotto beat Mosley and Judah who both have speed. Compare their speed to Manny’s.

FR – Different types of speed. Those guys are quick but they don’t have the power and precision that Manny Pacquiao does with his speed.
pac has quick feet and hands....mosley still has quick hands but he has no legs. judah has the physical skills to easily beat a guy like cotto but he lacks the heart and in-ring smarts

Explain to me what a shot boxer is? You loose some, you win some. It's a sport.

Boxer gets 1 loss, oh ****, there shot, give it a break...

And Vargas fought people he could not beat. aka Shane Mosley X2, DLH, Trinidad

I think this is an unfair comparison when matching how Cotto fought Judah/Mosley only because neither fighter put punches together from the odd angles as Manny did. I think too many people are putting their stock solely on Manny’s speed and neglecting his overall skill capacity. Manny just did his thing with all the tools he acquired.

                    Peace.
