Pac is a pretty good boxer overall, a stellar fighter- people don't give him enough credit for his boxing skills. His biggest weakness is his lack of defense, he has one but seldom uses it.

No offense but I think you give Evangelista too much credit when Cotto spent much of his time training himself. No knock against your post or you personally but these two had issues long withstanding.

Simple. Those two cats don't throw 12-punch combos, and are too conventional in their attack angles.

Manny speed and condition is incredible. Thats something that's been lacking in 147.
Then he moves up and has more power and and can take a punch, but that won't last if he keeps fighting bigger stronger fighters. I don't count De La Hoya, because he couldn't even touch pac, while Hatton didn't get much of a chance.

Cotto had to take some more time after fighting clottey, he did more training, but he still wasn't prepare for Pac not for 12 rounds. Cotto just got hurt and as soon as he does he's just not the same. I mean if Cotto had anything left he would've still tried to knock Pacquiao out, but he was just in another world. I mean he lost 4 rounds in a row against Clottey from about 7-10. And although Clottey is strong Cotto just didn't have enough to back him off. If Cotto would've done that in the first mosley fight he would've lost. He's just lost it after Margarito. He's soft thats what fighting against bricks will do to you. It will destroy your career, just look at history of other past plaster victims.
