Ray looked me right in the eyes and said, "The reason why some people believe that Hagler won that fight is because they don't know boxing." I couldn't have agreed with him more. I've watched this fight at least a hundred times and at bout's end, each and every time, I come to the same conclusion: Leonard beat Hagler. And he did it convincingly. The decision by which Leonard won was split, but in the eyes of many it should have been unanimous. For those of us that aren't so sure about how a professional fight is judged, pull up a chair, take a seat and turn your antennae on. A pro fight is judged in four different categories: clean punching, defense, effective aggressiveness and ring generalship.

i got eyes. i saw the fight.

leonard got the nod because he's the bigger star and because of his ****** flurries that didn't do ****.

This is what surprises me -- I would never have thought someone who claims to be better than Ali, Leonard, etc. needs a tune up fight?

"Who's the greatest? Floyd Mayweather Jr is the greatest fighter of all time. Nobody can beat my style. No disrespect to those great fighters of the past, but I'm better than Leonard, he had losses. I'm greater than Ali. He had losses, too. I'm the greatest of all time. But hold on a second, I just need to practice a bit first."

                Nnyahahaha!!

True, he's hiding behind that ''undefeated'' bull****. He needs to be hungry again like when he fought the lower classes. Mayweather was something back then..! He's still something, problem is, he lost his balls along the way. Lost that spark that made him great, take chances.. Taking it to his opponents and beating them at their own game. That safety first he's pulling now is okey, but not hunting a KO, being satified with a boring UD when the opponent already lost is not.

if the leonard-hagler judges were judging delahoya-hopkins , they would have had oscar up by the time of the ko.

There are no great men, only great challenges that ordinary men are forced by circumstances to meet.....Floyd needs to take a few risks IMO!!
