Gayweather's resume at 135 is very, very good.

With the exception of 2 stylistic boxers which would have posed problems for him (Freitas, Casamayor) his resume at 135 is very good.

But at 140 and 147... his resume is crap.

No one on this forum questions PAC decision to fight David Diaz and then Oscar and then Hatton and next Cotto. The last being the only legit win. Why didnt he face Campbell, Toress, Bradley, Diaz, Petersen, Witter and the very stacked 135/140 DIVISION. We really dont care that he didn't face the stiffest competition because we like him. His skills as of late are ATG material against questionable competition juSt like FLOYD. SO LET ME ASK YOU THIS QUESTION? Is PAC the best 147 lb out there is he willing to face Mosley, Margarito. The answer is hell no and you know it. Williams is out of the question so lets move on.

It really boils down to the fact that some people respect his tact when it comes to choosing opponents. People respect him more for his business savvy, i.e picking opponents that offer very little in terms of risk to floyds record while providing the most profit to be made, rather than his heart. His resume' is indeed great at 130 and 135 but now that he is a true welterweight like he says he his, he really never fights any true welterweights that pose a risk to his undefeated record, even though welter is where the money has been for the last 5 years.
