Gayweather's resume at 135 is very, very good.

With the exception of 2 stylistic boxers which would have posed problems for him (Freitas, Casamayor) his resume at 135 is very good.

But at 140 and 147... his resume is crap.

        Oh the irony.

Have you even read the first post? If you're right then what has Pac got to gain by beating Floyd?

I'll guarantee you right now that if Pac beats Floyd, the Pac fans on here will be totally hysterical and proclaim him the #1 ATG, or Top 3 at the very least.

If Floyd is a clown, a coward, a joke, a ducker etc how can that be? How can you put so much status on beating him?

I'll tell you why - because he's the most skilled boxer in the world right now, and a win over him means more than a win over any other fighter.

what hagler couldn't deal with is a guy fighting like a ***** in the ring and bitching out of a rematch.
Why bother commenting if ur not sure what happened? Hagler retired straight after the loss, leonard outboxed him easy,if u call that bitching out then Muhammad ali and sugar ray robinson dont do it for u either.

Its funny how people disrespect boxing greats because they're worried if their idol loses its gonna make them look bad, dude who cares?

leonard won that fight because he had the better boxing skills thats it!!

And why do people always say "hes running" when its obvious that the guy has more boxing skills than his opponents.

One thing is for sure, you cant run in the boxing ring,u can run but u cant hide, the same goes in the boxing ring, theres more to it than running to beat ur opponent.

If u dont believe me about hagler and leonard go to you tube check it out, hagler had nothing to do with boxing after the loss he had enough,he retired..and for you to dissrespect a man who beat a prime hagler after a 3 year break shows how serious u should be really taken in this pitty thread made by this pitty hater

I've been saying the same thing. People who have a dislike for him follow what everyone else is saying. I'm talking the usual, "Mayweather's resume at 130/ 135 was great" but deep down, they don't really know who he faced.

You are a coward and a clown. You need to respect the sweet science and give an unbiased opion. No one on this forum questions PAC decision to fight David Diaz and then Oscar and then Hatton and next Cotto. The last being the only legit win. Why didnt he face Campbell, Toress, Bradley, Diaz, Petersen, Witter and the very stacked 135/140 DIVISION. We really dont care that he didn't face the stiffest competition because we like him. His skills as of late are ATG material against questionable competition juSt like FLOYD. SO LET ME ASK YOU THIS QUESTION? Is PAC the best 147 lb out there is he willing to face Mosley, Margarito. The answer is hell no and you know it. Williams is out of the question so lets move on.

It really boils down to the fact that some people respect his tact when it comes to choosing opponents. People respect him more for his business savvy, i.e picking opponents that offer very little in terms of risk to floyds record while providing the most profit to be made, rather than his heart. His resume' is indeed great at 130 and 135 but now that he is a true welterweight like he says he his, he really never fights any true welterweights that pose a risk to his undefeated record, even though welter is where the money has been for the last 5 years.

man , hagler wanted a rematch.

he retired because he couldn't get one.

                    gtfo

i don't care if leonard is a great he is.

that don't mean he won the fight.

hagler won that fight and got robbed.
