Mayweather statement is a catch-22. Why? Because Pacquiao is a rags to riches success story. Meaning he ascended to become a superstar. If anything, ascending more makes the Manny Pacquiao story better.

Sadly your assumption just isnt correct. Beating Oscar has nothing to do with it. Its the matchups and the star appeal that sell fights. Pac and Floyd are huge stars and Floyd is controversial and promotes well, but if Floyd were to fight Steve Forbes on PPV tomorrow, it wouldnt do well.
