In MGM who do you think people were rooting for during the JMM vs FMJ fight? I think I heard lots JMM fans out there than Floyds. Do you you agree?
Live audience is not an indication of who's buying the PPV. Ive never been to see Floyd fight but Ive bought all of his PPV's. If Marquez had a noteworthy amount of fans buying the Floyd fight then why hasnt he ever come close to 1 million buys before?

Mayweather's Highest PPV before De la Hoya:

      Zab Judah - 374,000
      Arturo Gatti - 365,000
      Carlos Baldomir - 325,000

      TOTAL : 1,064,000

Pacquiao's Highest PPV Fights before De la Hoya:
His argument still has holes in it to me though, because he's indicating the reason for this is Oscar, but that would mean Oscar's other opponents should have seen jumps in their PPV numbers and we know that isnt the case.

Because he hasn't fought Oscar. Floyd or Pacquiao wouldn't be as successful as the are now without him. If Marquez had fought and demolished Oscar, he would be a huge star too, although less of a star than Pacquiao (not as thrilling to watch) and not as big as Floyd (not as controversial).

So youre saying because Floyd and Pac beat Oscar thats the reason why they are doing big PPV numbers? So basically youre saying because they beat Oscar they stole many of Oscar's fans or what?

Yes, because they are not great to watch (Pacquiao) and not as controversial (Floyd)!

            Round and round we go...

so your thinking that JMM didn't bring much ppv buys. Now do it in %. How many do you think bought ppv of JMM-FMJ fight who only bought it because they are rooting for floyd? are you gonna say 99% bought the fight because they are floyds fans?

I'm asking you because it seems you make it look like JMM didn't help in selling ppv in their fight.

So I guess Shane Mosley isnt crowdpleasing then.

Partly, yes. If they had put in poor performances and lost, they wouldn't be as big. Pacquiao is as popular as he is because of the kind of performance he put on. It meant people wanted to see him again.

If a movie is boring, will you go see the sequel? No. If a movie is great, will you go see the sequel?

then how come he sold less than pac?

how come pac has headlined 10 ppvs in america while Afraid jr. has only headlined in 5?

how come pac is sponsored by nike & Afraid Mayweather jr. is NOT?

how come jay z is writing ryhmes about pac not Afraid Mayweather jr.?

how come former president bill clinton is asking to see Pac not AFraid Mayweather jr.?

how come denzel is asking to see pac after his fight not Afraid Mayweather jr.?

how come nba champions like the celtics are hanging around pac after fights (in a low scoring ppv vs diaz) & not with AFraid mayweather jr.?

So how come all these things happen to Pac & NOT TO Afraid Mayweather jr. ?

How come bhopreign all the fighters you support are black?

                    Are you racist?

Not as crowd-pleasing as Pacquiao. Not as controversial or well-publicized as Mayweather. Bearing this in mind, he isn't likely to sell as many PPV's.
