These are the kind of fights boxing needs! Juanma vs Gamboa, Cotto vs loser of Pac-Mayweather, all on the same card!

Miguel Cotto's Return Eyed For June in New York

According to promoter Bob Arum of Top Rank, former champion Miguel Cotto may return in his favorite position - headlining a June event on the eve of the Puerto Rican Day Parade in New York. Arum plans to meet with Cotto and his team in the near future to discuss the plans for 2010. First, Cotto needs to recover from the beating he took against Manny Pacquiao on November 14. [details]

Cotto needs more time than 6 months.

I think Collazo is the best option as far as an opponent, but lately I was wondering how a Cotto vs Cintron fight would look. Would Cintron be a dangerous opponent for Cotto after being a tough war against Pacquiao?

I don't think he should fight cintron to many wars and what six months after the pac loss nah have him fight the feather fisted collazo. They should have him fight decent opponents for a couple of fights but opponents he can beat then put him in a big time fight. But he needs a new trainer

                      Really? Not even Pacquiao-Mayweather?

If Arum puts on Cotto-Margarito II and Juan Manuel Lopez vs. Rojas, Gamboa, Vazquez, or Marquez doubleheader with adequate pricing. It has a very good shot at being a sellout.

If Cotto can sell 12K tickets against an unknown tuneup with a weak undercard. He can do it.
