Great win by Ward which he deserves all the accolades. I thought Kessler would be a more versatile fighter than his robot formation approach tonight. It definitely wasn't the same guy who through bombs on Calzslappy. I just think Kessler underestimated the unknown Ward and he paid ten folds with this shocker lost. American fighters finally gets a legitimate win since they rob Dirrell of his. We should actually be 2-1, but eventually Dirrell will get his revenge. I can't wait until Froch get his, in due time. He has escaped too many close decisions, it is now time for a brutual butt kick. Go Americans!!!!!!!

If AA dont KO Dirrell, he wont win. This could turn to be a blow out by America. Froch is shyt, Kessler is missing his heart and Taylor is almost dead.

Ward and Dirrell are the wild cards with AA the possiable favoite. Froch, Kessler and Taylor are almost written off.

Ward won, but he had home court advantage. No excuse, I'm rooting for Ward, but now he has to travel. He'll face a hostile crowd and maybe, biased officiating. He may not be allowed to use some of his tools, and now they know he's coming. It's not getting any easier.

Head butts aside, Kessler got killed, embarrassed and his pride taken. probably because he fought a faster fighter (Joe).
All you guys had it Kessler....Arthur should show you different.
Of the 3 fights, Dirrell got robbed and you know it, Jermain fought the real winner of this tourney (not Kessler) and Ward dominated.
I still have Abraham, but Ward...who knew....he could take it....can't wait to see!
Not exactly sure why you responded to my post. We agree about tonight's fight AND the Dirrell v. Froch bout. I am not convinced that Abraham should be considered the prohibitive favorite as the media and many fans suggest though. I see many flaws. Hopefully Dirrell takes advantage of them.

Hiding? That's a nice way of putting it.

Biased officiating? Kessler forgot that he was in a fight is all. He convinced himself that the rules were somehow different in the States.

Posters that are complaining about headbutts conveniently forget that the first headbutt was in round 8. Before round 8, Ward was still beating Kessler up like if it was a mismatch.

Yes.....I agree. Andre Ward should have an extra golve fitted on his head. This is the first time I have seen him fight and he most definitely is a dirty fighter. I'll be pulling for Taylor if he decides to fight Ward because I don't like dirty fighters.

Did I miss something? Isn't he fighting Taylor next? Won't that be in the U.S.?
