People can say what they want, about the headbutts, but they played no role in the outcome of the fight. He schooled Kessler from the 1st round, until they stopped the fight. Speed kills, and his subtle movement gave Mikkel nightmares. Ward fought a beautiful fight, and landed enough bombs to get kessler to respect him.. My issue with euro fighters who fight mostly in Europe, is they are protected from fighting the best in the world. These two could fight ten times and Ward would win 9 out of 10. I picked Ward to win the tourney from the beginning, I was one of the 9% who picked him. I strongly feel he is the favorite, and has better punching power than Dirrell. His defense is as good as any veteran with 15 years fighting at this level. Kessler was a sore loser in the end, and didn't want to give any credit. I say this right now, if Calzaghe came out of retirement, he would lose to Ward and Bad Chad! Way to go Ward in representing the U.S.

What a joke and really I think Ward is gonna do a job on all of them,while all these guys try to load up on Ward he's beatin em like a drum.Never thought much of Calzaghe either he fought people past their primes and got out before some1 took him out.Just another white hope out-quicked,out-hustled,he looked like a lumbering ox who just couldn't get it right,sure Abraham can punch but after he misses over and over and gets smacked in return he'll start to fall apart and may get knocked out himself.It's like John "The Beast Mugabi vs Hagler,one fighting style with no plan B,way to go Ward and let's get rid of these other European bums as well,there have been some great European fighters but not in a long while.Too bad Roy was too old to put Calzaghe away after he stunned Joe with a short punch,both Hopkins and Roy would have killed Joe in their youth,pisses me of that we didn't get to see him in against any1,and if he comes back and fights anybody who's young and talented I think you'll see that he has a glassjaw,Comment

intentional or not Ward ****ed Kessler up.
IMO it was a CLASH of styles. As ward explains he felt 2 head butts not 4 or five.
Some of you bytches need to clean the sand out of your vagina and just man up to the fact that a GREEN fighter schooled Kessler.
Again, I like Kessler but its disappointing when the underdog (Ward) murders THE man that was favored to win the entire tournament and most everyone is complaining because they were wrong...
If people want to complain then they should complain about Froch "beating" Dirrell.

Kessler looked like a chump tonight. Ward absolutely worked him to death. Press row had it almost right and the judges were a couple rounds off....it was more like 10-1, really. Head butts aside, Kessler got killed, embarrassed and his pride taken. probably because he fought a faster fighter (Joe).
All you guys had it Kessler....Arthur should show you different.
Of the 3 fights, Dirrell got robbed and you know it, Jermain fought the real winner of this tourney (not Kessler) and Ward dominated.
I still have Abraham, but Ward...who knew....he could take it....can't wait to see!Comment
