"Hit And Hold" seems how American fighters do it these days. Ward needs to lay off the intentional (in my opinion) headbutts, but in the end Ward did kick Kessler's ass and he did not need the headbutts to do it, which is strange why he did them in the first place. Does Kessler's corner not believe in endswells? I never see them at his fights and Kessler suffers as a result. I also saw nothing from Kessler's trainer on how to adjust to Ward in the fight. Kessler is a great fighter but seems he needs a better team behind him when faced against boxers of superior speed.

Man, say what you want. But Calzaghe's stock just took a big hit tonight. I didn't go out of my way to root for that to happen, because Kessler is a good guy and all. But the fact that Kessler just got schooled and couldn't even make the fight competitive should make people think twice about putting Calzaghe in the top 100 of all time. I know I wouldn't put him anywhere near it. That may sound like I'm taking credit away from Ward, but Calzaghe actually got hurt against Kessler in their fight and lost the last round.

I don't know if Kessler had any personal problems going into this fight, but I know it's well documented that he hardly sparred for Calzaghe because of a bad hand.

They weren't intentional, anyways not the first one Kessler uppercuted Wards, head into his own head.

As much as I like Kessler he got his ASS beat by a GREEN fighter in Ward.

Joe Calsloppy didn't even beat Kessler like Ward did. I bet there are a lot of pissed of Europeans tonight. lol

America should be 2 and 1. Taylor should drop out. BTW, Froch will not win another fight in this tournament. Even the Kessler that got his ass beat will beat the VERY VERY limited Froch.....
