I started training as child as my father was a pro fighter and he worked next to the gym where Ricardo Lopez trained. I had some amateur fights and was lucky to meet trainer Rudy Perez and have learned a lot from him since. Wish I knew then what I know now. I train young fighters amateur and pro. I love the sport and truly believe it is the sport of champions. All boxers good or bad deserve respect because boxing is truly a rough sport and anyone who has honestly been there knows what I'm talking about. All the discipline and motivation it takes is like no other sport. Long live our sport of the real true champions. Some fighters are just so boring to watch but none the less they are trying.

I train in boxing and kickboxing. I've sparred on and off for years but no AM or Pro fights. I also dabbled with BJJ for a short time, I respect the art but I didnt really like having all my training partners sweating all over me, risking getting staph, ringworms or any other type of bacterial infection.

does tae bo with billy blanks count?

Im just playin boxed and sparred for 4 years had 15 amateur fights with two losses. Stopped because of school and work. People dont realize how long those three minutes in a round can feel sometimes. Mad respect to whoever makes a living taking punches.

I've only boxed as a junior. Had to give it up because of poor eyesight, as I did any idea of the Navy career I'd set my heart on. Man, was I pissed.

            Long time ago now, though.

i do im trying to get back into the gym regualry and get my frist fight down.

but honestly with the mentality boxing has giving me since i started. if someone come up to me and say i want to fight you sparring or not. i wouldn't give a ***....more benifits for me if the guy is good. i love a learning experiance...now if he's ass then we got a problem lmao.
