danny stash started a thread earlier challenging all boxing scene members that love to talk smack about fighters, to lace up a pair just to see how it really is. This got me wondering how many posters on here actually do box, or have boxed in their life. I'm talking about legitimately stepped into the ring and at least trained for a fight. Just out of curiosity, this obviously doesn't prove anything, I'd just like to see how many of the posters I go back and forth with on a daily basis know what it is to actually throw down inside the squared circle.

Never fought as an amateur, but had several sparring sessions with up and coming amateurs turning pro. Ain't as easy as it looks on TV. Haven't trained though since 2005 when I started traveling a lot.
