Impressive but not conclusive in the "bigger draw" argument - in fact if anything I'd say Mayweather's Numero Uno numbers are the more impressive.
    same thing i was thinking

That goes to show that Roach has a full understanding that Mayweather deserves the bigger cut.

If roach is that confident in his boy, why not offer to fight for 100% of the purse. I don't know if its ever happen in the history of the sport.

pac vs cotto went up agains vera vs couture
and couture is i think top 3 biggest draw in UFC

not making excuses, pac cotto still won...
Was that even on PPV. What time was that on also?

i would lose the little respect i have for floyd if he ******* his way out of this fight.

he has no reason to say no. he will make tons of money, would be again in the spotlight (which he loves), and has another chance to shut his critics.

im starting to think he really cares for that "0" too much. more than his legacy.

You really think that the most lucrative one-night event in the U.S. this year based on earnings is a failure?

i cant grasp your logic when you say 1 million is larger than 1.25 million.

                seriously.

We know Mayweather, I wouldn't be surprised.

1m against juan manuel marquez is better than 1.25m against miguel cotto, especially considering the way each fight was promoted.
They're interested in what they're sold which is what 24/7 was created for. We want to talk about tangible evidence?

                    floyd/jmm did 1.05 million pay-per-views

add to that the fact that pac/cotto was priced higher than floyd/jmm and pac/cotto sold out and they didn't have to hand out any free tickets, plus pac/cotto didn't fall on a holiday, nor did pac/cotto have 6 months of promotion... adding all this up, means floyd will have to bow down to 50/50 or even 55/45 in favor of pac.
Pac's fight had less time for promotion, had less marketing $$ to work with and was more expensive than Floyd's fight, yet he still managed to outsell Mayweather's last fight. That's pretty freakin tangible.

some of you pac fans didn't want this fight to come off to begin with.
