I'm not saying all my friends and family are like that, just speaking for myself.
Rob just like our family we purchase the JMM-FMJ fight not because of Floyd but because we love to watch JMM fight. Now do you get the point?

How about you guys did you guys give JMM credit? If yes then why didn't you bash on Floyd when he says he was the only one who sold the ppv on JMM-FMJ fight. What were you thinking when he said that?

Come on man lets be real. I respect Floyd and thats for sure. But I just wonder why some of you Floyd fans are discrediting Manny's achievement.
I thought that he was crazy. The only difference is that Cotto is my fighter(I'm puertorican) so i'm standing up for him, don't really care about floyd, mosley, etc. If Floyd would've said that if he had fought Cotto, I would've spoken like I did today. I love Boxing but have favorite boxers(Tyson, Cotto, Hagler). I don't like cintron because he cries and bitches. I like to watch Pacquiao fight and think he is an ATG, NOT the best But top 10, maybe 5.

I bashed Floyd for thinking his numbers are his alone and not the result of Oscar and Hatton being the bigger draw. His view was that he won the fight so they are his numbers...disagreeL Hatton and Oscar were the draw just like they were the draw with Pac.

Now are both Floyd and Pac legit PPV sellers? of course...especially after fighting Oscar and Hatton...but the dance partner is still important. Maybe Pac and Floyd led the last time out...who knows. But they didn't lead for Oscar and Hatton. Although Cotto vs. Pac was more alluring to me and I would even say the majority of fans than seeiing Floyd fight JMM. Plus, wasn't that on the night of some big MMA major event???
I think Pac. vs. Cotto was on an MMA event but not sure how big it was compared.

Either way...fight needs to happen and they need to make out a fair deal. Either 50/50 or the winner gets the bigger share.

Both Floyd and Manny are huge draws. Depending on who they're fighting, and the significance of the fight, one can out draw the other.

And to answer on JMM. He's just not a huge draw, like a Cotto. He's a known great fighter that people admire. He makes a good dance partner as you say, but by no means is he a huge draw.
Now you tell to the JMM fans. Now whats the population of Mexico compare to Puerto Rico?

By the way were you watching the JMM vs Floyd fight? Who do you think has bigger fans on JMM-FMJ fight? I mean inside the MGM? Was it Floyd or JMM?

I do and think Marquez is underrated. People don't give him his due. I think he just made a mistake fighting a welterwight because of his style. That is what is interesting about Floyd vs PAC, they are similar in styles and Floyd being a true welterweight might be the difference if they are that close. If pacquiao or Floyd loses, hope fans won't rush and say that the loser of fight should retire and his career is over. Fans do that sooo much, especially with Cotto. Only Cotto knows if he wants no more of boxing.

Floyd needs another big name...agree...which is why Shane is back on the radar.

Pac will try Shane as well if he can't get Floyd.

UFC 105 was on during Cotto-Pac. I watched it because it finished before the fight and the undercard of Cotto-Pac was ****.

Couture-Vera ****** though IMO. Cotto-Pac was ten times the excitement.

When Pacquiao fought Oscar, more fans are familiar with oscar and The PPV sales were favoriting Oscar's side. After Pacquiao beat him, the popularity shifted to Pacman.

I totally agree 50/50 fight and 147lbs. No more catch weight this time.. We must remember that Floyd-JMM were catch weight and Manny-Miguel were also catch weight. This time around no more catch weight.

Benny I will send you Green karma when I'm able. Nice to hear that we still have you guys whom we can talk in a nice manner.
