    thanks for the read.!

yeah I know he said he can make the weight.... still i consider him weak @ welter... he has to starv him self to death to make it.. even if he wants to accept it or not.. and anyway... hes crazy if he thinks pac is gonna look @ him...

he would rather give the payday to yuri for a shot @ his 8th title...

He didn't do it alone...A lot of Puerto Ricans and Latinos bought this fight.

Pac is the bigger draw but he didn't do 1.6 by himself

funny how at some point, everyone on this forum becomes what they hate. when the ball is in their court, using the exact same arguments that people once claimed were irrelevant to the conversation. i can remember 3 years ago when pac was really getting rolling at featherweight how none of this stuff mattered. now everyone is joining the ppv buys argument.

Im gues him fighting Cotto had nothing to do with it right.

Cottos biggest PPV was with argarito it sold 440K. 440-1.6 million you be the judge.

Numbers don't lie, but people do.

                  1) Pac didn't sell 1.6+ mill. Please refer to the official HBO numbers.

                  2) Cotto isn't a popular fighter, I guess.

Because of his retirement, his penchant for avoiding the most dangerous fighters, and the snorefests he has put on in the past,Mayweather cannot afford to take the piss by fighting another unworthy opponent. The public wont buy it,simple as that.

There are only 3 fighters out there he can make money with. Pac,who he will undoubtedly make the most with. Moseley, because this has been simmering for the longest time and should be a pretty easy sell. Williams, because it will be the first time in aeons that he will have taken on someone bigger.

If it isnt any of these, then he may as well hang em back up.

So what? It shoulda been a 50-50 deal from the start. It was obligatory for both sides to all for sumthin bigger at first. But eventually it'd come down to even split or nothin.
