And no, I'm not mentally handicapped. That's what you meant wasn't it, when you shot-back with "******".
By the way, my post was, in fact, intended to be confrontational. ROCKIN's post reminded too much of my friend's dad. Let me tell you, that man showed my buddy the "manly sport" alright. His dad was all about being manly and being "tough". He was a true throw-back that liked to make his boys "tough" by making them fight him and each other. They sure as hell turned out tough, but that's all they were. They could knock you over with their looks man, but the fighting never really benefitted them. It was tough to watch, as a kid.
All those "tough guys" in the 40's and 50's probably had the same ****ing dad, or they didn't know their dad at all. That's what made them tough. Is that what your man ROCKIN wants? I just don't understand it man, it's that simple. Maybe I am, after all, the "******" you claim I am.

Originally posted by Rockin1blah,blah,blah, your obviously younger and talking out of your ass on that point. Cause I would lay green that I am still young enough to show you exactly what Im talikng about. It seems that you seem very self conscious that I am directing the statements of weak minded youth at you. I have been looking for a fighter to train for the last 4 or 5 years, always having guys come up talking big and showing little. I eventually just drop them because they dont have the strong mentality that you will need. I ****** it up plenty in my time and fought on and fought hard. I was there, most definately. Now why dont you tell me where here is in your professional or amatuer career so that I know that you arent just completely full of ****.
My father never raised his hand aginst any body in our house, despite the fact that his dad was always trying to "toughen them up", much like our throw-back neighbour with his kids.
What truly made my father tough was his three janitor jobs to keep his son and four adopted kids fed. Despite his display of "toughness" on every day of the week, one of my brothers turned-out to be a great thug, as you aptly described him. Maybe my Father should have done to him as his father had taught him, you know, the "manly art" and all that?
As far as guys being "tough", they don't need to be fighters and boxers to be TRULY tough.
The 40's and 50's are gone and will not return. I do not lament this fact, and neither does my father, the tough guy.
ROCKIN'.... another thing, I apologize for comin' on strong the other night. I was out of step with the post and got hot headed. Plus I'd had a few buds, but that's no excuse. Yopu started a decent thread that intended not to flame anybody. Good on you.

you know what munn, I will confront any person that I meet as a gentleman. If that person wants to push me then I will get tough, I dont like doing it but I dont like being pushed by people more so, so at that point I will. You meet any person that knows me and ask them what I am like your answers would be, nice, quiet, creative and even dosile. I dont need to kick ass in the street to prove that I am tough. I threw fists with enough world class fighters to laugh at the drunks in the street with all of their couragious words and just continue on my way. I am tough, make no mistake about that. But I am secure enough in myself not to have to show it off in the streets. That would just make look like the ass. I dont need to fight and I dont need people like you coming off on me. I have not been in a street fight since I was like 10 years old. I am a tough guy, I can fight, straight out. But more than that I am a gentleman with class, just dont step on me and you will see that..............Rockin'
