No. but Brits have Regby or whatever you call it and let me tell you this mother****ers are tough also british soccer fans can teach Al Quaeda how to be dangerous. Ever seen any british soccer revolt. Thats the last place where you want to be including Iraq. its like playing russian roulette with Glock.
So dont underestimate these brits. Especially because in two and a half weeks I will travel to England and gonna be fighting these mofos.
But back to the subject. Since 50's the world changed a lot. Mainly the life level increased a lot and if you ever noticed most of the fighters come from poor families and bad neighbourhoods. But life got much better the we dont have as many poor, angry kids with no opportunities but boxing anymore.
These days anybody can go to college and have a career.

Year ago you could fight and settle your problem, simple as that. These days you can't even push someone without getting slammed by the law. Kid get kicked out of school for just getting into a little confrontation. Men getting locked up and all their weapons apprehended just for shoving a neibor over a dispute. Its america becoming communist, thats what it is.

Tough kids in America, like you're saying Rockin, are found in different ways because the world has changed (duh). Divorce is much more common. Many kids are children of single parents, usually mothers. That has a lot to do with it I think. Since the US is less family oriented, neighborhoods are less friendly. Are you friends with your neighbors? I don't even know any of my neighbors' names, except my grandparents' neighbors.

Since there are single parents, kids are at home alone a lot more. So, they stay home and watch TV, play games, etc. Not to mention the fact that video games are better than they used to be, technology is better. I thought I played video games a lot when I was a kid. But really, I played them more since I was like 16-17 when I got my playstation, ps2, etc. Games got memory cards, more memory on the discs themselves, so they got more complicated, took longer to play. Are more life-like.

It is definitely a different world. Bored middle school kids go over to their friends' house whose single mom is at work and know what they do? They ****. Boys **** girls in the ass...that's their version of birth control. **** her in the ass, you don't have to buy condoms and the girl doesn't get pregnant. Scary but true.

yeah but you're a diamond in the rough, eh. And you didn't have all the distractions, not saying there weren't any, just not AS many. Like me, I didn't have the Internet growing up. Now kids do, which is another huge distraction.

Being a kid growing up now, I can tell you why so many kids aren't tough anymore. All kids got these things now called "Guns and Knives" The kids don't need fists when they got shanks and glocks. You can find alot of tough kids who just use their hands, but it's pretty rare.

America Doesn't "own" British Boxing... Quite the contrary.

Highschools instructed about the proper ways of self defense and well, kids were tougher back then. What is it, in todays society that makes parents believe that teaching a young kid or young man to defend himself is so wrong. Today, instead of any thing physical, it seems that kids are pampered and given television video games to pass there time. There are tough kids out there, many I am sure. But nothing close to the yester-years. The people running in the gangs are tough, I am sure, but there is no honor in that life unless your goals are to be a street thug. So where is the honorable young man with the tougness, with the grit and heart of a champion. Being raised on computers, video games, fast food and pampering, todays youth are just simply no longer tough. Where have all of the tough guys gone.............Rockin'

I see lots of kids and young men all of the time going into Detroit at the different gyms. I guess the question would be, to be more specific, where are the tough guys that can handle some tough training to challenge them. It seems todays youth are so weak minded. Either just plain ******* or running in gangs with guns and ****. Anything that is hard they will stay away from or look for easier avenues to achieve what ever it is they seek. I see the gang life as being the easy way out leading to a life of nowhere and nothing. Americas youth, for the most part is weak..............Rockin'
