Marquez is not in a position to make demands, but it would be a great fight if Pacman came back down to 135lbs to fight for the Marquez's lineal lightweight title, then drink some gatorade and get back on the scales so they can also fight for Pacman's lineal 140lb title. Roach won't let that happen cause it would drain Pacman like Cotto was in the Pac fight.

Cotto was not drained...In fact, he seem to be in the best shape of his life at 145......If Pacquiao fights at 135, he will need to lose 10 freaking lbs! JMM already fought at 144...I see no reason why he shouldn't fight at WW....

Cotto was drained. You could see it in his eyes and he got tired quickly, a sure sign. Pac weighed 144, so 9lbs, and 138 for Hatton after 2 meals and a 5000 calorie/day diet if you believe Roach, so 3 lbs should be no sweat. JMM had on shorts and a BIG gold chain and pendant and looked slightly pudgy for the first time at 144. Pacman was drained against JMM @ 130. @ 135 Pacman v JMM is another good fight and weight is easily made depending on which side of his mouth Roach is speakin out of. JMM has no chance at 147. Pac is naturally bigger.

I dont understand the whole weight drained issue...Most peopl use it when a fighter loses and was out of shape...Do you really think Roach would let his prized pupil go in the ring being nothing less than a 100%. Im tired of hearing oh he fought Marquez but he was weight drained thats why the fights were so close..Get out of here with that nonsense already..Do you really think JMM will get knocked out. If pac couldnt do it before he wont do it now. If Mayweather couldnt do it. He has flash knockdowns. thats his downfall but thats also his switch to turn it on. I think Marquez has always wanted another crack @ Pac. He should get it IMO.. Pac is scared of marquez and if they fight it should be @ the weight they came @ in their previous encounters. Marquez didnt do that bad against PBF, the weight didnt help him @ all and PBF exploited that..(catchweights suck!!!!) fight @ the correct weights then we will have no excuses ( weight drained, blown up, etc...)
