Realist, first of all you don't discount knockdowns. That's like saying the guy was doing great until he got knocked out. Those points are earned. Secondly, while I agree I'm getting a little tired of the catch weights as well, the fighters agreed to them. If Marquez was such a warrior, why did he want the weight at 144 and not 147? Of course I realize Mayweather said F* it and came in 2 lbs heavier anyway. Cotto was 146 for the Clottey fight, I don't think 145 drained him. I'll concede that DLH was completely drained for the fight, but that was really the only fight where the weight was an issue. He fought Hatton at 140, his preferred weight. Moralez was drained for their last fight, but hey, that's the weight they had fought at before, why wouldn't they choose that weight? I don't Pacman had any huge advantages in his fights. Hand picked opponents? That's a disccussion, but advatages? Hardly. You don't know that Pacman is on steroids and you have no proof, I think you're drinking the same juice as that crackhead Mayweather Sr.
As for the forum topic, JMM just wants another paycheck, can't hate on the man for that. But at 140+, he's too slow and too weak to do any real damage to Pacman. I say take the fight with Hatton, it's a winnable fight and a decent payday at that.
