      Does 106 equal 106?

      Does 16 equal 16?

Numbers don't lie, my mathematically challenged friend.

      TRUTH HURTS SOMETIMES.

      • only reason because pac got all that power is because he trains from 7 am till 7pm...he ****in trains hard at the gym.even paulie got his face blasted up by hatton, did he think hatton took roids too?lol i just think that cotto had not a good defense at all in that fight...and take punches for 12 round in the face hurts and cuts.

        • Paulie Feels Weird about Pacquiao...

WTF?! are you getting horny with Manny? "Feels weird", what a word to use. lol. feels like getting wet or something?

pacquiao has been KOed by torrecampo, a fellow filipino in a lower division. thats where he got his first loss.

Manny got Knock downd not just once. So if he can take all of cottos punches means he's on roids? lol.

It depends on the type of shot he took..

Manny can take cottos punches because he was ready for them. He was expecting it.. The punch that KOed manny was a countershot from torrecampo, and marquez is a good counterpuncher, so its very possible that he can KO or dazzle pacquiao.

IMO, cotto landed hard punches on pacquiao but those were not critical punches. Pacquiao is a critical puncher, he aims at your temple, jaw, and mid section, he's like a little Mike Tyson.

          • Paulie has always been a loud mouth idiot, hopefully Diaz knocks him out this time around.

Sorry about your thinking but to me it really does seem weird as Paulie would say.
i ruled this argument out because the difference between punches from pac and punches from other fighters is that pac hits you with shots you don't see. you can clearly see that pac's opponent's were unprepared to take a strong hit when pac knocked them out/down.

diaz: was in the middle of throwing a left uppercut while looking DOWN. by the time pac connected, diaz was still looking at pac's shoes.

hatton: threw a lazy jab and got hit with a huge left hook coming from downstairs. if you watch it in slow motion you can see hatton didn't have his mouth closed. boxers close their mouths and clinch their teeth when they see that they're about to get hit.

cotto: again, didn't see the left uppercut. he was hit while throwing a combination of his own and also wasn't clinching his teeth. he was completely unprepared.

pac's punches are like sucker punches. if you don't walk around with teeth already clinched, pac has enough power to put you down.

              • Malignaggi better watch out with his opinions towards Pinoys he could end up with bad rep and could be banned from Boxingscene.

very good point. It really depends on how you got hit. Pacquiao is very good releasing punches in any direction at the right time. Yes there are many stronger puncher than pacquiao at welterweight, but do they know where, when and how to land them?

You sure they fought 3 times? I believe it was just 2. And Mayweather is not a pressure fighter. But he is an accurate fighter, and possibly the most inteligent fighter in the ring that we have seen in a long time... But on to the topic at hand. I don't want to take anything away from the outstanding win that Pacman had this weekend, but when you start to hear talks of performance enhancing drugs in sports there is normally some truth behind it. Lets just hope its not. But Pac had been wobbled by Marquez, and then Pac was able to take everything Cotto hit him with and Pac was able to hurt Cotto with everything he threw. But unless we hear/see some solid evidence saying that he has indeed been cheating we should applaud the man for his most recent accomplishment. (But Floyd still beats him steroids or not)

exactly. if you catch your opponent off guard with a punch at a certain angle and/or at the right time, you don't need to have god-like power to put him down.
