    • See everyone is shocked at Manny being able to come up in weight and take punches and keep his punching power, speed and all that, but just think a minute. When he was a super featherweight, he'd weight in at around 130, then rehydrate and come in at 147 on fight night...thats what happened in his last fight with Barrera. In his fight with De La Hoya, he weighed in at 143 I think? Fight night he was 148. Hatton he weighted in at 138 in the weight in, fight night he was 148.....what people don't realise is Manny is NOT really coming up in weight, he's just shedding off less body fat and thus able to focus more on his technique, punch resistance and his game plan in training....he ALWAYS had crazy punching power, he was always a big hitter and generally heavy handed and he hasn't lost speed because he hasn't really put a lot of weight on.

When was the last time Manny was really hurt? He hasn't been Knocked down in like 10 years, he takes a punch well and always has. He was only knocked out when he was weight drained youngster...he isn't a weight drained youngster anymore, he's a heavy hitting, fast, athletic, bad ass boxer, thats what so many people are failing to realise.

Paulie is speaking his mind as many other people think. If Margarito was never caught and won his fight against Mosley in a knockout fashion these are the same people praising Manny's victory that would have been praising his victory.
How are you so sure Manny wasn't cheating just because he wasn't caught doing it? You don't know and neither do I so you should reserve your high praise because something is really fishy to me. Cotto was hit hard by Mosley, Margarito, Clottey, Judah and even Torres but was never knocked down in the early rounds, but he fight Manny and gets knocked down in the 3rd and 4th rounds against a man that knocked Juan Manuel Marquez down 3 times in the first round but couldn't knock him out.

Sorry about your thinking but to me it really does seem weird as Paulie would say.
hope pacman is not using anything bcuz i wanna see him beating FMJ
one thing still bothering me pacman was rocked by marquez punch in 2nd round of 2nd fight but he was taking cotto punches like baby punches

            • Paulie deserves the second chance but he is so unlikeable. He talks too much and is not exiting at all. He is a whiner who has punching power 3 weight divisions lower than his current weight.

                  • One of the things people fail to realize is that manny had lots of trouble making weight at lower divisions and when you have to cut a bunch of last minute weight what are you really losing? Water.... Why is that important? Because you are losing water from your whole body but mainly your muscles since that is where most of the water is stored. You also lose some of the fluid that is in your head and acts like a buffer to protect your brain from all kinds of shots.
