Leonard vs. Lalonde? He won two belts. He also lied about his weight, doing the old Pacquiao trick of stuffing weights into his tracksuit pockets.

Not sure. Probably the Canadian WBC belt then.

See how pac fans contradict themselves.
before the OST was requested, the man was insulted and reputation was ruined. sadly enough, only the minority (idiots) believe pac is guilty of something he has complied ever since he fought

since you said catchweights are lame... why has floyd weighed-in heavier than the contract weight limit against jmm?

sadly enough, OST should be done and officiated by the governing body of boxing. problem is, floyd is not the governing body. that is the biggest mistake he and fraud team has done... telling the other man is on a-side meth is just as ****** as the other side defending themselves (not the fighter who said this) the fighter is afraid of needles...

pac requested the 10mil per pound excess of the contract weight, floyd agreed... then floyd is ****** enough to drain himself at the exact weight. why is that? because he was planning to weigh-in 2lbs heavier but instead agreed to pac's conditions... pac did not agreed to the OST because he has nothing to prove and really just a fight for pride. i guess asians are not that ****** to bow down to the demands of another thick-lipped *i might get banned word*.

so... floyd's the donkey for bowing down to pac's conditions.

can we have a-sides on contract?

tired of catchweights. but if 2 guys wanna get it on im ok with it, just not 4 a championship. thats why i was beyond upset when i saw Cotto was being ordered by the WBO & Paco's bitchass 2 defend his title at the 145pound catchweight, if not he would have gotten stripped. what was even more sad was how the WBO made Manny the #1 contender with just 1 fight at Welterweight under his belt. against a guy that hadnt fought at 147 in years & wasnt even ranked in the top 10 of the division.

i think there's a rule in place where in the #1 of the lower division can be the number 1 contender for the next weight division. not sure though

If catchweights didn't exist Gatti vs Ward I, II & III wouldn't have happened. Nor would Whitaker vs Chavez.

think about that for a minute.

Exactly, we've had some absolute classics.

n00bz act like Pacquiao invented catchweight fights in November 2009 though.

doesnt really mean its ok tho, right?? but thats what contracts are for and yet no one claims these ppl are making up rules like a commissioner...its kinda weird.

for the record i dont have a prolem with catchweights. i just want ppl to see that the boxing commissions only set general foundational rules for fights. the contracts are what really control.

How is it not right? If two guys agree to terms what's the problem?

The only times things get a little funny is when there are "Diamond belts" and various other **** the ****** organizations come up with, but other than that there is nothing wrong at all.
