that dude has a point.. he had me thinkin after he said it.

im not sure if the shell and the shoulder roll will work on a southpaw.. the positioning to block and roll punches will be awkward for floyd... hmm

The shoulder roll doesn't work as well against southpaws because there's an angle there for straight left hands down the center as well as right hooks over the shoulder if timed correctly. But if Mayweather manages to keep Pacquiao on the outside behind his jabs and lead rights, it's academic whether the shoulder roll works or not against southpaws.

The shoulder roll worked vs Corley
Im sure the shoulder could have worked vs Zab but using the peekaboo made it an easier fight

Interesting point, I'm wondering if Pacquiao might end up using movement to avoid the right hand if he starts getting caught like that.. he evaded many Cotto shots by using footwork. It's questionable if he'll be fast enough on his feet to do that against Mayweather though.

Pac would just smile at floyds punches and walk right thru it.. Fraud will most probably break his girly fragile hands on mannys chin..

Mayweather got hit more against Corley than he could afford to get hit against Pacquiao.

Maybe he can, maybe he can't. Pacquiao will have the fastest footwork of any opponent that Mayweather has faced. I'm sure Pacquiao will try though to try to get Mayweather to overshoot when he jumps in with his lead right hand and then counter with his own left hand over the top. He did that to Cotto effectively, of course, Mayweather is much faster than Cotto.

Yeah, maybe I'm remembering it wrong but didn't Judah manage to counter one of Mayweather's leaping punches and put him down but the referee ruled it a slip?
