No no I agree Oscar prime would beat Cotto but Oscar when he fought PBF and Oscar who fought Pac could not take Cotto. Oscar was still trash when he fought PBF. He was just heavier trash when he fought PBF. If he wowed you with BS pitty pat ineffective punches when he fought PBF your an idiot.

OSCAR was the best for over a decade, 6 world titles at 6 different weights, never ducked, his name is next to sugar ray , duran so anyone going on disrespecting are talking real ****. floyd beat him at the end of his career, pacman beat him definately at the end of his career plus a weight drained guy who clearly wasn`t before the fight, oscar realised this but oscar being oscar ain`t calling off no fight no matter what...so all u idiots dissing oscar shut the **** up, u dont know ****...!

Someone really needs to pull that huge PBF ***** out of their ass.

I say let Floyd fight and prove himself with Mosley or Berto. If he wins, then he's WORTHY to take on Manny. Why give Floyd another freaking payday? Let the beatch earn it!

Think about the last fights that both Manny and Floyd had.

        1. Who had the bigger challenge?
        2. Who went out to fight the bigger man and proved himself?
        3. Who fights for glory and not just the money?

Mayweather is everything that is wrong with boxing and all you Mayweather cum guzzlers need to wipe the jizz off your faces!

Someone can counter your argument by saying that Floyd accomplished more at 135. It is not a meaningful statement.
          I don't remember mentioning anything about 106.

floyd started his pro career at 19 years old at 130 pounds. Pac was fighting at 112 at 19. floyd is a naturally bigger fighter, I don't know how you can argue that. and pac would not have been fighting floyd in the amateurs.

btw, floyd is one of my favorite fighters. I'm not being biased against him. its just the facts.

OSCAR was washed up and at back end of his legendary career when he fought floyd and he still almost beat, most of the boxing world still think he should`ve won hence why there was gonna be a rematch...oscar in his prime we would ve wupped pac, floyd, cotto basically the lot of em...!

The man is just doing his best by challenging Mayweather to fight PACMAN. It's reverse Psychology. Most of the content are rather insulting for Mayweather although he pretended to be a friend. But he praised PACMANs achievement a lot in a different way. The guy is a genius!

Point is PBF fought an old Oscar as well. Oscar that night did not compare to Cotto on Saturday. So PBF has not faced great opposition like Pacquiao did and dominate. All this PBF n DLH talk but who stands alone at the top with 7 championships in 7 divisions and 4 lineal championships. Thats right MANNY PACQUIAO not PBF and he never will.

An Open Letter to Lyle Fitzsimmons
                  Hey Lyle,

                  How are you?

                  I have a question.

Why do you even write Lyle?

Seriously. I can name several posters here who are ten times better than you and have better understanding of the fight game than you. They analyze better, and they make better sense.

But you Lyle? You're a joke Lyle.

I remember one time you retorted, "I'm gonna write slowly so you'll understand". You said that Lyle. Your attempt to be witty just proved that you were dumb.

                  Oh Lyle.

At least get the facts straight. You said about Pacquiao: “Because the more he marches around saying he’s the best…”

Tell me Lyle. When did he ever say that he was the best? When? Can you link me to a youtube clip? How about a direct quote? Where Lyle?

It wasn’t always like this Lyle. I used to post your articles on twitter so that people could read your articles which I thought were great. I would even quote you sometimes Lyle when I’m discussing boxing with other people.

But what happened Lyle? You now write these terrible columns that are so completely biased that you might as well be any other poster in any message board. You’re actually worse than that now, Lyle. Look in the mirror. You’re a troll, Lyle.

I don’t want to fight you Lyle because I feel sorry for you. I don’t know you well but you’re acting like an old hag spinster who gets mad at pretty girls for having boyfriends. It’s pathetic Lyle.

Get well soon. I hope the real Lyle comes back because that one was good. While you, Lyle? You’re embarrassing.

                  Sincerely,

                  MaynMan

Shoulder, I agree w/ you that PBF should take this fight. 50/50 is fair enough I would say. But it would depend on how he beats Manny. lf he wins by jabbing and back-pedalling his way to victory, that doesnt silence his critics. He should dominate Manny if he wants to silence them for good. Believe me, if he does that, even haters will become believers.
We all know that PBF is in a not so good financial state right now. Nobody can give him as much money as a Pacman fight. If he says this will be an easy fight, then why doesnt he just take it and go straight to the bank after the fight? He's just contradicting himself. If he insist on a 60/40 or a more than a 50% share, he doesnt really want to fight Manny. Plain and simple.
BTW, Cotto's gained my respect even more when he went to Manny's corner after their fight. Thats what you call a real MAN.
