Floyd would rather make excuses now, because he knows if the fight falls through he can cover his ass by pointing to excuse after excuse he makes now. While a real man, Pacquaio, will act, speak and simply be the class act he is without all the garbage. Its possible Floyd is better, is one of the best ever even - but his ******ity, pride, ego and ignorance will forbid us from ever finding out. Yes, I think Mayweather is a big enough jackass to leave an 8 figure payday on the table because he doesn't get a 60/40 split. Of course, he'll go broke again because he lives his life like a moron, but he'll just do some more WWE gigs. Meanwhile Pac would just retire content and in a good frame of mind.

    Bro,AGREED.REAL TALK.

    I will add a point.
As far as PBF is talented,he should have take many of these fights:

    Tszyu at 140,
Mosley,Cotto,Margo,Williams or even Clottey at 147
or WW and Forrest at 154,
INSTEAD of the Garbage he gave us since his Castillo days.

I actually named the 8 better guys of the last years or last decade for fews, from 140 to 157 and he fought NONE.

NONE,****!!NONE.So,his denial fans can hope or lie,but IT'S TOO LATE.
He could have been a TOP 5 ATG,now it's too late.

This 147 era will be remembered as great, not yet,but later, and Floyd would not have step up.FACTS,REALITY,HELLO!!!!!WAKE UP DUDES!!!!

    It's a HARD statement.

I don't care why these fights didn't happen. All I know is he was, isn't ducked by everybody.

    Now,he cries,because he knows it's too late.

    Forrest is dead,
Margo,Cotto,Tszyu and WW are retired or kinda, lol.
Mosley will be 40 when they fight if they,Clottey could be still here but def not a great win.

    He will NEVER fight Williams.

Only Manny(a good win,but still a boring fight and a former flyweight champ,it's how people will see it),saul Alvarez and Ortiz, maybe fool Sturm for a MW title, lol, and retire.

It is how it is.He pussied.Writers, fans aren't,won't be fooled.

        [QUOTE=big_james10;6685164]

"Also, your circular logic about Pacquaio beating DLH and Hatton more convincingly makes no sense based on both past and recent history. Everyone who knows anything about boxing history knows that George Foreman KTFO of Joe Frazier and Ken Norton, both of whom beat Ali. So, logically, one would conclude that Foreman would easily beat Ali. But everyone (except you) knows that Ali toyed with Foreman and KO'd him in round 8.

Floyd KO'd Diego Corrales at 130, moved up and won two decisions against Jose Luis Castille. Castille wins one fight by KO and loses one fight by KO against Corrales. Hatton KO'd Castille in the 4th round. Floyd KO'd Hatton in round 10. Vernon Forest beat Mosley twice."

-Didnt you just imply that the "circular logic" about comparing the fights of both fighters against Oscar and Hatton makes no sense yet you included this:

"Pacquaio score a draw and won a disputed decision against Marquez. Floyd beat Marquez without breaking a a sweat"

Sorry man, but I dont get it.

What makes you think that? Is it the fact that he called him 'Champ' SIX times in the article?

I'm not debating that he doesn't want the fight to be made - we all do. But he doesn't need to be disrespectful of Pacquiao's achievements which quite frankly blow Mayweather's out of the water. If he thinks Mayweather would beat Pacquiao I agree with him....but he sounded like a jealous prick because his boy has been outshone after Pacquiao coming off a dominating TKO win over the man Mayweather "retired" to avoid.

It simply puts him in contention to become "the man."
Sorry to break it to you but Pacquiao is #1 in the WW rankings and #1 P4P, he's the man now until proven otherwise.

Pac got his ATG reputation by tearing up respected fighters and making them say no mas fight after fight.

PBF hopes to get his ATG status the lazy man and cheaters way. By watching Pac beating everyone, while he retires and chills out, letting pac do all the hard work. And then hopefully beat Pac at the end of it in a one off fight. So basically pac beats 10 great opponents, while PBF hopes to get the credit in one fight against Pac. Pac is PBFS meal ticket to greatness, and the only one PBF cares about.

PBF is counting on the possibility that at least one of those fighter would have softened Pac upp for him.

Seriously how is PBF the man? What beating DLH and Hatton made him the man, or is it his unbeaten record? Pac is the man, and PBF needs to beat Pac to be the man. Everyone is saying Pac is the man.

Does an unbeaten record make you the man then, is that what you are saying? So JC was the man, as was Sven Ottke.

mayweather i think you are the most skilled boxer... i think your gonna beat manny...i also think the better fighter should make more money yet that not true. I would believe you would be the draw but Time magazine doesn't think so. I have to believe they know who sells more on the world stage. So if manny's is kind enough to offer you 50/50 take it. hell if he offers 55/45 take it.
