The last part where Cotto hurt Pacquiao was in the final minute of round 5. Backed Pacquiao into the ropes, hit him with an uppercut then caught him with a left hook that staggered Pacquiao. Pacquiao still won that round, and it was all downhill for Cotto after that.

Cotto was in shape for that fight, but his physique was so different from past fights (prior to Margarito). He's been more toned in his fights with Clottey and Pacquiao, but in the ones with Mosley and Margarito, he looked bulkier and heavier.

I considered Pacquiao stopping Cotto, but on cuts. I also didn't think Cotto would be on his bike with so many rounds left to go. If anything, I thought Cotto would be doing that (if he did) in the last two rounds or something, you could tell by round 9 that Cotto was undoubtedly finished. Firing back occasionally, but nothing fight changing. By the start of round 12, you could tell that Pacquiao wasn't going to let Cotto walk away with the decision loss.
he was fighting the right fight, but pac forced him to exchange and he had no option but to brawl or end up getting overwhelmed.

More evidence that he was training himself in those lower weight classes. A healthy pac is a monster!

Mayweather Sr. was right, it's got to be the steroids lol.

There's no way in hell that steroids would help a fighter develop a chin and pain threshold like that. I think Manny's mental conditioning with the slap-stick method has been working after all.

thats the reason why they took a jr. middleweight as the main sparring partner...so that manny cud get use to the power shots of a bigger guy...roach is smart...

Because of the fact of a "Catch-weight" This fight needs a re-match going full weight all out, Cotto seemed tired too soon, maybe it was Pac's work to the body, or even the fact that his power n speed shocked Cotto which made him vulnerable for more shots, hopefully it wasnt because of "overtraining". Either way this fight shouldnt have been stopped, but either way it went 12 rounds and i say a re-match can be possible as a last Pac fight, late 2010 or early 2011. Lets get Cotto to rebound, he is still my best fighter, props to Cotto, you still are the man!!

This man really took those hard shots but pac was prepared by using those Kali sticks.

                No pain.
Pac used that mind game shht that Roach uses, instead of talkin it he shows it, just like Clottey did wen he was stuck in the corner, that tells the opponent that he did not hurt him and therefore he tells himself that his punches arent good enough to keep doing what he is doing therefore he backsup looking for another strategy, thats when the other fighter unleashes out.

I truly believe Cotto deserves a re-match with Pacman instead of giving Fraud "Ugly Ducker" Gayweather a chance for a big fight with Pacquiao.

have guys really watched the fight? even if they meet in a heavyweight division, nothing changes the fight. try to watch the fight in a slow=mo and open your eyes.
