He said he pretended not getting hurt, true. But you can't deny how powerful those shots were. It may have hurt, a jab would hurt... But it has nothing to really stagger pacquiao, which until now i find unbelievable.

I'll watch the fight again, everyday for a week. Hopefully i'd get to believe what i just saw that night.
    sounds like me!!!! Lol

I remember one of these posts on boxingscene.com before the fight said it had cottos power rated (a-) and mannys the same!!! I mean i was rooting for manny and when i read that i was like "thats not that accurate,," i diffinitly had cotto's power above mannys,, boy was i surprised i was wrong!!!!! Anyhow cotto has shown alot of class in defeat i admire that and will remain a fan of his!!

Cotto said it, because he knows it. Pac is the best fighter in the world. Not one of the best fighters in the world. There is a difference.

But its obvious Pac hit hard, anyone with eyes can see, even Stevie Wonder and Ray charles.
And there was no reason to suspect Pac had a suspect chin. It always seems reliable when he does get caught.

even is he had his old trainer it might make a difference for a few rounds but it wont matter after awhile cuz the pacman would have did the same thing to him

like i thought cotto did not have the proper sparring partners to prepare for mannys hand speed and angles should have got ronnie stevens and stevie forbes

i too am guilty of underestimating manny's chin, i know that he can win the fight but that if he employs the same tactics that he did with oscar, swarm his opponent with punches while continously moving. It may lessen the impact a bit by not sitting on his punches but will do the damage by accumulation. But what he did with cotto was something else, he was still doing that in and out, side to side movement. But occasionally now stood toe to toe with cotto throwing his combinations while taking some in the process. He really is showing of his granite chin, which i am glad that he did that, coz we were all still questioning is his chin ready enough for the big boys.. I guess it is now.. And i dont know if you all notice, he parried most of cottos shots with his arms, i mean he rarely drops his arms now and he improved on his defence quite high now..

finally someone who makes sense and knows boxing like i said the sparring partners played a big part in this fight getting shawn porter who fought at 165 as a amateur for power and jose luis castillo who fights sort of like cotto was the correct choice cotto on the other hand should have gotten ronnie stevens and stevie forbes quick fast welters that give you lots of angles

Maybe they shouldn't have fired Gato.

What surprised me the most was the fact that he was able to (legitimately) KD Cotto twice in the very early rounds. I don't remember him being KD'd like that since the Torres fights years ago. Even Margarito wasn't able to KD him like Pacquiao did.
