How was he ruined mentally by Margrito?

He was trying to fight smart. He only got knocked down because he was throwing everthing he had at Pac.

He, like most people, believed he could hurt Pac if he caught him. He was wrong.

I think his loss to Margrito is grossly overplayed. He looked fine in his last few fights against very tough WW.
Pac just destroyed him.

If you had a brain you'd notice that's not what I'm doing at all. Pac put a beating on Cotto and I'm not taking anything away from him. He damn near KO'd Cotto, he took Cotto's punches far better than I thought he would, his Clottey like defense surprised the hell out of me. I've seen him grow into a complete fighter and cotto didn't lose that fight, he got BEAT period. What I'm saying is after the knockdown an old Cotto wouldn't have given up all that ground. I'm not saying he would have won, because Manny obviously showed his skills in that fight.

Maybe now, but its apparent you didn't watch that fight. The wraps whether or did or didn't happen leave too many questions left unanswered. Cotto was looking like Floyd in the first 6 rounds of that fight, countering, slipping, dodging just excellent boxing skills but then it just disappeared and the rest is history. The problem is that there is a question about wraps in that fight, maybe you're right Cotto gets worked without wraps, but we'll never know. Saying **** like that is just ****** because you have no idea because the first half of the fight was just as one sided as the last half.

Exactly why I said Cotto took something from Marg in that fight. Cotto after getting hurt, ran for survival whereas before the Marg fight he would have been like *****, NOW its on.
