Why do people want to rank Paul Williams so low P4P?

And the reason I ask this is because Hopkins, Mayweather, and Mosley haven't fought as often as he has. If he beats Sergio Martinez, he should be #2. Mosley should be automatically ranked underneath him for three reasons. #1, he blatantly turned him down. #2, Williams beat his conquereror (Even if it's a more faded version). #3, Sergio Martinez is a better and more proven fighter than Berto. And Williams already beat Margarito before Mosley got to him. Hopkins and Mosley have done nothing but hold their spots hostage. Bernard keeps making opponents move up in weight. Mosley has done jack **** since his win over Margarito when Williams will have fought two times since Mosley fought and three times since Hopkins fought. If these guys belong in the top five, then so does Paul Williams.

And Mayweather should be ranked underneath Hopkins, Mosley, Pacquiao, and Paul Williams.

The only thing the Punisher can do is keep beating the **** out of anyone who isn't scared to fight him!!He doesn't have the star power to coax the other stars into combat!!After he beats Martinez, hopefully Pavlik doesn't pull another floyd on him!!

Did u see when that 1 hater made up some illegal substance claim against the Punisher??That **** was funny as hell!!They hate him soooo much, they had to make **** up!!!Some fighters are lucky enough to have their fans do there fighting,I am lucky enough to have my fave fighter chase the best fighters across the world & see them show their yellow bellies every time his name is mentioned!!

And the funny thing is, Cotto would've gotten less credit for beating Pacquiao than Paul would've got for beating Pavlik. I kind of feel like I'm holding Pacquiao to different standards. But I would give him a pass for not fighting Williams unlike all the other guys because he's the smallest of them all.

On another note, Arum doesn't want to match any of his fighters against Paul Williams period. Because he knows his stable of fighters would go extinct if he created a line for them to go into slaughter. Pacquiao would stand a better chance against Williams than Clottey and Cotto would though, because he's actually got stamina.

Damn, this thread didn't get that many replies when I first made it. Goes to show you how much of Pacquiao's moment this is. Hopefully people haven't totally forgotten about the Kessler-Ward fight either.

I think the Ring Magazine reaks of non-objectivity in a lot of cases, but just like the above poster said the top 5 I think is all black American fighters. Are you Flawless's alt homeboy?

Williams is better than Cotto, Donaire, Caballero, Vazquez, and Dawson P4P. He deserves to be in the mid ranks.

The only interesting part of 154 is the top three with Williams, Dzinziruk, Martinez, and then Angulo as the up and comer. I still view Angulo as a more exciting fighter than Cintron even though he lost to him. And I also think that is gonna be Cintron's fifteen minutes of fame before he fights again. I am not interested in Paul fighting Cory Spinks or Yuri Foreman.
