Why are people saying Pacquiao's style is "tailor-made" for Floyd?

If Pacquiao were tailor made for Floyd, he wouldn't be southpaw, he wouldn't be fast or have power, and wouldn't have an unpredictable attack from unconventional angles.

Floyd's more dominating performance of JMM is about as relevant as Cotto's more dominating perf of 3 common opponents and Pac's of 2, to Mayweather.

I always thought Mr boat buyer would handily KO Pac. Not so sure now. It's pretty much an even contest. Pac showed yesterday he can take WW punches which was my lone concern about him at WW. If he can take his counters all nite, he can beat Mr boat buyer.

Will all those punches he throws at odd angles Floyd wont know where to block, he will break his defence.

Floyd won't allow the distance to be so close that manny will be able to use those angles. Everytime Floyd even thinks Manny is coming in he'll take a step shoot that jab to the body or lead with that left hook followed by a push.
If manny does close the distance he'll get a steady dose of Mayweathers forearm to his throat. I see pac having a couple moments but I don't see him doing enough damage to slow Mayweather down. This fight will be fought at a distance and Floyd will break out his jab like he did against Marquez. Alot of flurries from pac that will get the people excited but won't land clean. Just my opinion, tho I can see where your coming from.

Ya, but is he as quick as Mayweather? I've yet to see quicker step-in-step-out jab like Mayweather does. He will also be able to keep Manny at a distance with his reach advantage. Mayweathers defense> Cotto, or anyone else pacman has fought.

If he can't hurt Manny, Floyd will run for 12 rounds and stink out the joint, hopefully getting booed out the arena, never to be seen again.

He was testing Cotto's power dude. I think he even said as much himself. The idea was to test his strength, but also to allow Cotto to get his shots off and gain confidence when opening up so Manny could take advantage of his mistakes. That was smart. He gave Cotto the first round for a reason.
