Why are people saying Pacquiao's style is "tailor-made" for Floyd?

Ya, but is he as quick as Mayweather? I've yet to see quicker step-in-step-out jab like Mayweather does. He will also be able to keep Manny at a distance with his reach advantage. Mayweathers defense> Cotto, or anyone else pacman has fought.

I had serious doubts about the Mayweather fight before last night.

But now I think Manny can beat him.

Well, truthfully if you think about it, Pac doesnt like movement. Think about when he got to cotto, when cotto was flatfooted and initiated contact and traded. Yes speed kills, but if mayweather isnt STANDING THERE trading and waling away (which we know he doesnt do) then its a difficult fight. Pac will honestly have to catch up to him. pacs style is excellent for guys who are willing to trade, but mayweather isnt going to be just standing there looking to impose himself. Not to mention floyds inside fighting is relentless when he wants to use it.

Its not an easy fight, you have to look at why he was able to beat cotto, and think about when cotto moved, pac didint like it at all and literally had no answer until he slowed down.

Cotto also leaned in to alot of pacs punches when pac came from an angle, mayweather isnt going to do **** like that. There are few mistakes for pac to capitolize on with mayweather and there are more for mayweather to capitolize on pac, thats why its a tough fight.

the "angles" will carry the fight for pacman, that will negate the defense of a shoulder roll or hiding behind the shoulder. the punches will go around the shoulder to seek the face and the head and floyd will not be pretty anymore when the time comes.

Mayweather is a defensive mastermind who just does not get hit hardly ever. People say Pacquiao is tailor made for Floyd because unlike Cotto, he will hit Pacquiao over and over when the opportunities are there. He will make Pacquiao's in-out style ineffective when he catches him coming in.

It will be a great fight. Pacquiao won't destroy Mayweather, nor vice versa. I do see Floyd out-boxing the life out of Pacquiao though.

Lets get one thing clear, though. Margarito ended Cotto's career. There was no heart from Cotto last night, no instincts. The fight was over after 3 rounds when he refused to shoot the right when it was there to be thrown repeatedly.

The angles only work if you are standing there waiting for it to come, which mayweather isnt going to do. Mayweather gives you next to no body and very little head. Not to mention, mayweather adjusts midfight, his tactical mind is matched only by bernard. Mayweather just needs to be on his bike for 12 rounds and im serious, pac will have a very difficult time with that.
