"I've seen some fights with Pacquiao and I've seen that the two times he has been knocked out, is from his opponents working the body. I do not think he can take Miguel's punches. He is not the same [fighter] like De La Hoya or Ricky Hatton."
Evangelista is incorrect. Manny only got stopped ONCE to the body, and that was 10 years ago. This ****** myth about him being stopped TWICE to the body needs to die. When he was stopped via body shot he was weight drained and did not make weight, he was over the limit and lost his title on the scales. In his next fight he skipped 115 and 118 and went right up to 122.

This guy Evangelista should know better than to put incorrect information out there. The guy is supposed to be a pro. If a mere boxing fan like me can know he wasn't stopped twice to the body, he should know too.

Clearly, he hasn't done his homework.

How do you know the media hasnt made a mistake in his statement?
(the media tends to stretch the truth)
Ive seen plenty of articles floating out there that were waaaay offfffff.

He's been swarm plenty of times by the media regarding this fight.Sometimes people forget facts. Not too mention he's a busy trainer in PR and outside with urango.

              I agree.

Sounds like a realistic opinion 2 me.

If Cotto connects to Pacmans body, it will be the hardest body-shots Pacquiao has ever taken. Cotto has much more power than anybody pacman has fought before, thats why its an 50:50 fight to me, even though Pacquio is faster and the better boxer. The physicall strenght difference could be to much. If Cotto can take Pacmans punches well, he will brake Pacman down in the end. Cotto has to be carefull not to get hit flush in the first rounds though. Pacquiao has great speedpower, while Cotto has way more brute strenght. Its like to compare a ferrari with an big block muscle car.

                      ring rage

if cotto hits manny too much, pacquiao will be in a rage. If that happens, cotto will be in big trouble. If you want to see this, watch the pacquiao-sanchez fight, manny is ready to devour sanchez, good thing the physician stopped the fight. We dont know what could have happened to sanchez had the fight continue.
