Well actually Cotto is not a former 106 lber he is a former 105 lber and Pacman is not an elite WW yet, he has fought there only once.

Oh, I'm sorry were you being pathetic again and making reference to Pacman as a former 106 lbs. LOL you are just funny now.

By the way you talk about common sense???

Lets try to find COMMON SENSE on your post below.

SCENARIO #1: If Cotto imposes his size advantage he should win under 6 rounds,

SCENARIO #2: HOWEVER if he doesn't hurt pac badly by then or hasn't KOed pac, then cotto will get beat up because cotto will gas and pac only gets stronger.

SCENARIO #3: BUT if cotto tries to get cute w/ pac by boxing and counterpunching, in other words if cotto waits on pac, pac speed will be too much for cotto and cotto will get sliced up.

I personally believe that scenario #1 will happen, but if cotto doesn't follow "the gameplan" and tries some ****** **** thinking he can hang with pac's speed, he will get beat up.

You talk about how it would be a shame for Cotto and how He need to retire if he loses but 3 of your own possible scenarios you give Pacman the benefit of victory on 2 of them. Then you brag on other post on how Cotto will be to big but in other post Pacman "has better boxing skill and won't be able to handle the speed"
Another of your favorite quotes is that we pay to much attention to the 106 lbs figure but it is you who always bring it to the table.

Dude you are pathetic as usual but I'm truely surprised that you uses the words COMMON SENSE becasue as we can see you don't have any!!!!

    PS
I'll be offline for 4 or 5 more hours but I'll be back so don't brag about me not having response for you pathetitc posts like you did last time, on which I came back while you were online and it was you who never had response to my replies.

Manny for the past few years in SFW was a lightweight/JWW who chose to drain himself to 130. And, yes, anyway you twist it--Manny is the smaller man here but someone who can fight effectively at 147.

I think Pac will too much for Cotto, speed, stamina, work rate wise. Cotto is slow and prone to getting hit. Pac will make him dance and Cotto will get frustrated.
It a shame that Pacs recent fights have gotten people all souped up on him! He seems like a great guy and he's a hell of an entertaining fighter but mark my words Cotto will win this fight decisively! Oscar made a business decision to fight PAC and paid the price for it! He couldn't make that weight and be a challenge to PAC, Roach knew that and Oscar got an ass whoopin and a check! Hatton is not an elite fighter, period. I know people love him too but he's not that good and clearly lost to collazo! Even b4 getting knocked out by mayweather! It's a shame boxing has turned into such a popularity contest because if it wasn't people would see that in this particular fight Pac is in serious trouble! He has speed and that's it! PAC-maniacs think of it like this, Cotto is a stronger meaner Marquez that will not touch the canvas in this fight, that will touch PAC early and often to the body and the head! Enjoy the koolaid now because Saturday night it won't taste so sweet!

Just one question...why aren't they fighting at 147 then?

Deceptive speed my friend. Look back at every opponent that Cotto has beat and they have all said more or less the same thing, "I was surprised by his speed, its not that he is fast its just that he is surprising quick." This is, in part, due to to the straight trajectory of his punches. If Pac believes he is way too fast for Cotto and that he can do whatever he please he is in for a terrible surprise saturday night.

Ah the 20,000 thousand dollar question. We all know the answer. But it's ok cause Cotto is fine at 145. He might even be a bit quicker with his punches.

Cotto's lucky to even get 145. Again, Manny is the smaller man. You take every advantage that comes your way.

IMO it's better for boxing if Cotto wins.Pac won't even fight at welter weight, whats he gonna do defend the ww title at catch weights every time?
If Cotto wins atleast he will defend his title at welter weight 147lbs not 144 145 146 or 146 1/2. To men getting on the scales at 147lbs.
