True. Mayweather shouldn't even be on this list at all. But I'm sure the author will out him there. But having Tito at 21 is BS. Tito should be higher so my point is that having Tito at 21 and then have dlh in the top 10 is absurd. I would accept maybe one after the other at most

If Cliff Rold has Mayweather among the top 10 welterweights then I'll cease to view any further lists of his. But he won't. Neither will DLH be there, atleast I don't think so.

People forget how many great welterweights there have been. This list also doesn't cut off from around the early/mid 1900's as most people's list, old time greats such as Tommy Ryan and Ted 'Kid' Lewis are there, deservedly so.

Tito being inside the top 25 is a compliment.

#1 is, and probably always will be, Sugar Ray Leonard. I don't think there will ever be another welter with that particular combination of speed, endurance, athletic ability, power, and guts.

I just don't think SRR was quite at the same level as SRL. He does run a close second, in my opinion, but second nevertheless. I do admit that, while I try to remain unbiased in discussions like this, it's hard sometimes, having seen SRL's fights live, and being so amazed at the time they were happening.

Whatever else can be said, though, they are, without question, the two best welters who ever fought, whether you have Leonard or Robinson first on your own list. Anyone else, and you shouldn't even be allowed to watch the sport, in my opinion.

I agree the two Sugar Ray's are number 1 and 2 but I have Robinson ahead. He was dominant for a longer period in time and never lost at the weight.

Leonard however has the fights with Hearns, Duran and Benitez which make it close.

Not very good rankings, in my opinion. Whitaker and Trinidad are too high. And Duran shouldn't even be on the list.
