Ricky's good with me, but he shouldn't try to scratch that itch against JMM or any top 140 or 147 fighter.
That's fair. I mean, Hatton had the advantage of fighting in England where the refs allow his type of fighting style much more than anywhere else. But that's fine. Hatton did a whole lot with what he had. He was a limited boxer but a very good fighter that entertained the masses and was willing to fight anyone. Props to him. But he was ever elite beyond the his division it was for a very, very short stint. Maybe if he had been trained better and kept in shape between fights it would have been different but that's the way it is. If he wants to fight again that's fine as long as he is medically cleared but he will get beat by the top JWWs.

it's not the itch to fight... its the itch to make more money.

You guys act like Hatton is the only boxer ever to go soft between fights while rooting for Arreola (whose training camp was set up at the San Bernardino In-and-Out). Hey, I'm with ya, it's not smart for a boxer but damn! The Hatton hate on this forum?!?! Hey, at least we know he isn't on steroids!
Also I think Marquez would knock him out......power of the piss I guess.

                    There's only one ricky hatton
                    one ricky hatton
                    walkin' a long
                    singin' a song
                    walkin' in hatton wonderland!!!!

**** all you haters....he may not be the best boxer in the world but give the guy credit for what he's achieved

and by the way all you pac and pbf nut huggers who say hatton is garbage then it should be no surprise that pac or pbf beat him so those wins shouldn't mean anything...right? Oh but you keep boasting about how pbf outclassed him for 10 rounds...then pac demolished him in 2...but if he's garbage it shouldn't be a surprise... all you haters need to eat ish
