How many of you had Clottey beating Cotto?

Cotto was fighting with 1 eye from rounds 3-12 and you expect clottey to get the fight? I'm sorry but if cotto had both eyes ok he would've won the fight by UD. The judge that had it 116-111 was crazy but he should've still gave Cotto the fight by 114-113. Clottey makes EVERYONE look bad, even when they win. I thought Clottey would beat Cotto before fight but this fight was a plus for Cotto because it shows he can handle a VERY, VERY bad cut and still go distance against a freakin middleweight.

I think this is why people feel ok about Cotto winning but cuts don't mean you get sympathy points in boxing. He was a warrior for fighting through that and I give him all the respect in the world. He still lost the fight though.

i disagree ... hes a great fighter but if he was clearly better he would've won. cotto fought extremly well considering the cut and he could have fought more aggressively if he could see and if he didnt have to protect his eye. but i do think cotto was there for the taking and if clottey was clearly better he woulda.

i think if boxing was a sport of will and heart then cotto wins easily i think the only reason he gets the win is activity. I can't be mad at the decision i only had in one round different and kidos to cotto to fighting well with a cut, but boxing isnt about who does better with their advantage/ disadvantages its about who does better period. As a fan watching on hbo with the benefit of closeups, diff angles, etc. I saw that many of cottos combos were blocked as you should have as well. Clottey's uppercut landed from rd 1 on. Cotto is a man for not pulling a nate campbell but he lost the fight

Clottey lost the fight when he decided to use his head as a third punch like he did in the baldy fight. Clottey should have been dq'd.

Cotto didn't win the fight. Clottey lost the fight. Clottey quit working for the last 3/4 rounds and allowed Cotto to edge out the victory. You have to beat a champion and Clottey didn't do that.

I think minus the cut that Cotto probably would have won by a descent margin though.

The loss is on Clottey and rightfully so.

This poll is one-sided, makes the topic creator look like a bigger joke. Maybe Cotto needs to spray his skin coat to be accepted. It was a tough fight where Clottey headbutted Cotto and caused a serious cut on Cottos eye. This fight should have been stopped and Clottey Dq'd. Clottey the dumb ass either cheats or doesn't know how to not use his head during a fight, he was rightfully Dq'd in the baldy fight too.

it was an accidental headbutt as cotto was bringing his head down as clottey was bringing his up. Cotto was actually the one bringing his head down while not throwing and clottey was beginning to throw a hook. If anybody did it intentionally it was cotto, ut it was not intentional and definitely not cheating chill on that every fight is not a conspiracy

wonder if Cotto's body work had anything to do with that? I mean, Clottey with two broken hands won the 12th clearly against Margarito and punched a lot more, was he just too concerned or Cotto took too much out of him? I think the second......
