A lot of people on here don't know the difference between a 'Robbery' and a close fight!

As I said when I first watched it, Clottey clearly won the fight with the more accurate punches to the head. Cotto landed more body shots but those close rounds Clottey landed more head punches.

The judge who scored it 116-111 for Cotto was obviously favoring Cotto hitting Clotteys forearms and gloves. Oh and is it coincidence that all 3 judges most notable fights were all past Cotto fights?

Anyways I was just wondering why is the decision in this fight not talked about much on this site?
the 116-111 score was BS. I saw it at 115-112. Clottey had a real shot at winning the fight but at times he would seem to just stop throwing punches. For some odd reason he kept looking for a way out of the fight. He honestly looked like he was faking that knee injury. I think Cotto hurt Clottey early or something because after the 3rd or 4th round you would see Clottey hold onto Cotto anytime he got close. Anyway Clottey lost it cause rounds like the 12th when he decided to just stand there and not throw. And wth was he doing in the 6th round. Just getting beat up in the corner.

If Mosley didn't think it was a robbery than I don't know how you think it was

            You are correct.

People tend to favor the underdog when its a close fight and like to call it a "robbery"

After watching this fight a million times I'm more convinced now that Clottey was worried about Cotto countering off the ropes later in the fight thats why his activity was down.

There's really no other reason for him to stop throwing punches. Cotto started working in the uppercut off the ropes. Caught him good in the 11th round.

It was a very close fight, could have been a draw,it would be extremely possible to call it a draw, but it was close!!Some say it couldn't be called a draw, makes ya wonder!!I mean those are probably the same people that thought Tito won more than 3 rounds against Oscar!!

In a fight that the 10 point sistem is being use, it is imposile to score the fight a draw with only 1 KD in the fight. Basic Mathemathics!!!

And The Oscar vs trinidad fight was a draw, throwing flurrries to the air every last 10 seconds is not winning a round!
