Admittedly I had it for Clottey - and vehemently so - on the first few viewings, but over time (and thanks to the HD version) I've come to realise that Cotto deserved it more. Hence, 114-113 to him.

However, some of those earlier rounds were up in the air, so I reckon as much as 115-112 to either fighter is perfectly acceptable. Any more than that, though, is not legit. Very, very close fight. Needs a rematch.

saw it close fight night ... but when i had the chance to see it sober , noticed that cotto ducked alot of clotteys shots ... noe the less i was upst about the performance but honestly dude had a bad cut, i could see him more focused on not getting the blood from his eye than actualy beating clottey down ... that my opinion, lot of dudes out there may differ

on a side note... cotto without that gash.. would have beaten clottey more convincely!!!!

only haters where not impressed by that performance!!!!!

cotto could have easy call it a fight after round 4... and that was a wrap!! 3-1 round with one of them being 10-8!!!!!

In Clottey's case the most he came out with is a draw!!I was bitter in the begining, but after i watched the fight on Monday,if Clottey wanted that fight, well,he should have fought like he did!!There isn't no reason in the world why Cotto should be fighting against U for 9 rounds with 1 eye, much less winning rounds!!Clottey better make a mental note to average at least 250 more punches a fight or continue to simply be outhustled in route to close losses!!

first time around i felt Clottey did enough for a draw, but second and third review of the fight I scored it for Cotto. without the cut, Cotto wins by clear UD.

How can a fight with a single KD be scored a draw?

Oh wait, 10-10 rounds... Fuck that. I just don't agree with it. Too subjective, not enough consistency, and a lazy way to score.

u cant say if cotto didnt have the cut he would've anything because he did have the cut. you dont know what the hell he woulda done if he didnt have a cut. instead of looking at how good he did considering his disadvatages, look at punches landed cleanly, accuracy, defense, etc. the only advantage cotto had is activity.
