i don't know about all time. id place him somehwere amongst the best, though. you can not disagree that he was the better man later in his career against guys he might have lost against in their prime. that's a question no one knows the answer to, and i'm not interested much in peoples opinions. with Calzaghe, the bottom line is that Lacy was the man at the time. and he absolutely destroyed the man that many said was the future of the division. other than that, he beat a young Kessler, and i would still bet on Joe to beat Froch, and even find a way to beat Dawson. Dawson would be the fight i would want to see.

That's what did from around 27-28ish or so. WOW.

              Awesome.

Keep comparing him to shot to pieces done Roy Jones. Just proving what a ****** you are.

I honestly don't get all the hype about Calzaghe...

I've seen The Jones and Hopkins fights, which were cool wins and all, but I wasn't monumentally amazed, considering they were both old and passed prime opponents. Can anyone direct me to your favorite Calzaghe fight that justifies such a high ATG position?

why do you keep making that comparison ??
Your not very bright are you??
Berbick was 27 yrs when he beat an Ali who was 42 yrs..that was a 15 year age gap
Calzaghe was 36 yrs when he fought Jones who was not yet 39 years old ...that wasnt a 3 year age gap !
I wonder what diseased prick you dripped off the end of ???
Your a fcuking idiot who cant even add up correctly lol

                    Fighters peak at different times.

for example Mike Tyson was 36 years old when he fought Lennox Lewis but he was still totally shot, while Lennox Lewis who was 37 years old was still in his prime.

age doesn't have anything to do with when your prime is. the fact is Roy Jones Jr was 39 and totally shot, he had been KTFO twice 4 years before he fought Calzaghe and hadn't beat anybody of relevance for several years. while Joe Calzaghe was in his prime. that win means NOTHING.

we all know a PRIME Roy would have knocked slappy the **** out.

as you can see most people agree with me.

                    now **** off ******.
