Cotto's Habits I Don't See Pac Capitalizing On...

If I hear "former 106 lb'er" once more I'm gonna smash my computer to bits.
I was once a former 106 lb'er too, when I was about 11. In fact Manny is a former 7lb'er, cause that's probably about as much as he weighed at birth.
It's irrelevant what Manny weighed 15 years ago because he was a child. Since then, he grew. Manny is now a legit Jr. WW.

Packy is a nice man. But, habit or no habit, its not gonna help.
Cotto is too big, too good, too fast and too strong.
TKO in 10 or less.:mangler:Comment

Pac has a quick uppercut from the outside and he will throw it and land it. Cotto is vulnerable to right hook as well, just look at the Corely fight. Cotto is vulnerable to straight lefts through the guard.
Pac has vulnerabilites as well, we'll see who capatalizes more.Comment

Cotto was hurt with a right hand (Hook) from Corley over Cotto's hook. He might be working on that.. I have a hunch.
Cotto needs to watch out.. Its the punches that you don't see that will end your career.Comment

i dont know who said cotto only has three bad habits i can name 3 more
1. cotto blocks jabs with his right hand defensively. So if you jab and he blocks w the right you can bring it down and both of his hands are disabled to block leaving him wide open for power punch. Very weak against simple 1,2 mosley and clottey did this well at times. Kellerman continually said he couldnt see vs clottey but clottey did this time and time again.
2. cotto must sit on punches to punch efficiently. Cotto's biggest fights have been against opponents who either come straight forward or stand in front of him, when he has faced elusive comp namely zab (and even chop chop who foolishly decided to go to war) he's had trouble getting any power behind punches until they slowed down. If manny doesn't slow he doesn't get hit.
3. cotto has a tendency to switch southpaw vs southpaws. this is not going to be his gameplan and if he allows manny to dictate his fighting stance he will allow manny to dictate tempo which does not bode well because he does not want to throw 60-80 punches a round although he says he is prepared on 24/7
4. Cotto often will wait for opponent to strike first, especially if he is not dominating. This is why mosley outlanded him in most rounds (esp. powershots), clottey victory was cotroversial, Zab had great early success, Chop Chop had a shot etc. This last fact brings to question cotto's mental toughness he has heart for days but can he stick t a game plan? we will see next saturdayComment
