People need to remember that the reason that Calzaghe and Taylor beat Hopkins is because of speed and aggressiveness. Dawson has only one of those attributes. This is one fight of where I could see Hopkins being the aggressor, and that may throw him out of his element a little, but he would apply more skill than what Johnson did tonight.

This is why I don't want to see the fight right away. Because for all we know Hopkins might look like **** like Johnson did just from age. But if he is the same guy that beat Pavlik, I have him winning against Dawson. The version of Johnson that showed up tonight is not even that much more of a challenge than Pavlik probably or maybe even less.

Except Chad isn't as fast as Calzaghe, nor as active, nor as consistent.

He's fast for the first 4 rounds, then he gets lazy and let's his opponets get back into the fight.

Apart from that, he's also deathly afraid of the rough stuff. If there's an active fighter out there that fears being roughed up in the clinch more than Chad Dawson ; I can't name him.
