Strikers in MMA work on their TD defence and have enough of a ground game to be competitive with wrestlers and guys with a groundgame.

Boxers on the other hand have ZERO TD defence or experience on the ground. Hell even their stance is different than an MMA strikers as they dont have to worry about TD's in boxing.
