Look lads, you might honestly think you could, but the simple fact is you could not get close to beating a pro. You would be too slow, too ****, too weak, and just not good enough. Keep thinking it though if it helps you get through life.

You two could not ever beat a pro boxer in MMA but a pro MMA guy could. Even they would have trouble sometimes though and it's highly possible that out of ten fights they would lose a few. You guys ain't pro, you are just ****. Nothing, nada, zip. When a fifty year old former boxer who can hardly stand up he's so fat and out of shape flattens a young, former UFC champ in two seconds flat with the first punch he landed before even trying to get in for the TD, you still think that an in shape pro boxer wouldn't stand a chance against a couple of little douches from nowhere that have never won a fight in their pathetic try-hard lives and are probably a couple of fat little couch potato hacks?

Oh man, this is great. Sad that it got this many replies, but still hilarious. Amateur nobodies thinking they can beat pro's. I love it!
agreed..... I thought it was funny a while back when ppl were talking about ochocinco whoopin Berto in a boxing match.

Be a MMA fighter and be more humble, what you don't know is that once you get hit by a real pro boxer, you'll realize it is another story. Even average pros who are 5-4 would beat the living **** out of any MMA guy who trains in "striking" if you talk about stand up fighting.

Pacquiao, Mosley or Mayweather would all hit too hard and too fast for a wrestler who never laced a pair of gloves and never took a clean punch in his first twenty years.
I have 2 years of Muay Thai and i started boxing this year, i have some good bases on the ground and i KNOW that even if i would probaby win a pure wrestling/judo match against them, they would KO me before i try to clinch. Mosley would win a lot fights in MMA. Once he connects, you're a dead man. You need also to consider the tremendous amount of hard work and athleticism those bowers have, they could prevent takedowns after 10 months of training.

Work hard, be a pro and then you'll challenge real MMA fighters.

Mosley would lose every MMA fight he would attempt to have........man, so much ignorance in here....

so just 10 months of training to prevent take downs? how did you come up w/that? how much training to take a kick to the leg or head? or prevent from an arm bar or rear naked choke?....

Im 6'0" 200lbs. I could beat you with my right hand tied to my back. I hope this post was a joke. There are amateurs at my gym around 150-160 that would box circles around you.

I talked to UFC professional fighter( before an event) frenchman Foupa-Pokam, i asked him if a De La Hoya or a Mosley could be good MMA fighters with 1 year of hard training. He answered that those guys were great athletes, could learn fast and that they might do very well if they're dedicated.

Learning how to prevent a takedown and to close a guard are not advanced skills, those are basics. Cro Cop did it in a couple of months/years of training.
